GM Announced the Warranty Program of Volt Lithium
Dow Jones reported that General Motors held a news conference on July 14 in his battery factory in Michigan and formally announce its Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid lithium group warranty program.
GM said they will provide 8 years’warranty for the Toshiba Satellite A80 batteryChevrolet Volt lithium batteries’ 164 components and the mileage of 100,000 miles. Volt lithium batteries thermal control systems, charging systems and electrical drive components are included in the warranty.
GM Chevrolet Volt will be the first enter the U.S. market, large market plug-in hybrid. The car’s lithium group life capacity of up to 40 miles, 120-volt power VGP-BPL2,VGP-BPL2Csupply under the one-time charge time is 8 to 10 hours, 240 V power supply state in the charge time can be reduced to 4 hours.
GM global electronic system Micky Bly,the managing director, said in a statement: “Consumers will have much more confidence in Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid by the warranty program”
